Founded by industry veterans Steve Lucas and John Nguyen, WavePort Security serves as a knowledgeable, strategic partner, providing professional services and state-of-the-art security technologies. With more than 30 years of experience in cyber security and technology, we deeply understand and address the unique problems our clients face every day.
JOHN NGUYEN - PRINCIPAL ENGINEER AND CO-FOUNDER
John is a seasoned engineer and solutions architect with more than 20 years of experience in advanced network, web, and email security. His work has primarily focused on advanced persistent threat (APT) and advanced cyber threat defenses and detection for Fortune 500 enterprises and large system integrators.
Prior to co-founding WavePort Security, John was a key engineer at Pivotal Software, Toshiba Information Systems, Extreme Networks, IronPort Systems, Cisco Systems, and FireEye.
John attended Virginia Tech and Potomac College and holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and numerous industry accreditations and certifications.
